This site is my portfolio. I run it myself and I am responsible for the data described here: Kacper Cichy, kontakt.kacper.cichy@gmail.com.

No cookies

The site sets no cookies and does not follow you to other sites, so there is no consent banner. Settings from the accessibility panel (larger text, for example) stay in your browser's own storage. I never receive them.

Visit statistics

Vercel Web Analytics counts visits without cookies. Vercel recognises a repeat visit by a hash that changes every 24 hours. I only see totals: how many visits, which pages, which country, which browser. I also count page views myself, in the same anonymous way as CV downloads (described below): I record the date, the page, the browser family, the domain of the site that sent you here and a daily hash instead of your IP address. I cannot tell who you are.

CV downloads

When you click a CV link, I record the date, the language of the file, the page the link was on and the browser family, for example Chrome/macOS. To count people rather than clicks, I also store an anonymous hash of your IP address, your browser and a random value that changes every day. Your IP address itself is not stored. The next day, the hash can no longer be linked to any address.

Where the site runs

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any server, Vercel keeps short technical logs that include IP addresses, under Vercel's own policy. The site's content and the visit and CV download counters live in a Supabase database in Frankfurt, in the European Union.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Write to kontakt.kacper.cichy@gmail.com and I will reply. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
